7 thousand years old statue found in Kuwait, debate on aliens started again

Obnews Tech Desk: There has been a debate going on for a long time regarding the presence of aliens on Earth. Meanwhile, a 7 thousand year old statue found in Kuwait has revived this discussion. Archaeologists have discovered a statue that closely matches the depiction of aliens in the present day.

Unique discovery by archaeologists

A team of archaeologists has been excavating since 2009 at the prehistoric site Bahra-1 in the northern region of Kuwait. The site is one of the oldest settlements in the Arabian Peninsula, existing from 5,000 to 5,500 BC. During the excavation, a statue was found whose slanting eyes, flat nose and long skull surprised everyone.

“This figurine is one of the most unique and surprising of the more than 1,500 small finds excavated at the Bahra-1 site,” said team leader Agnieszka Szymczak.

Relationship between idol and Ubaid culture

The Ubaid culture of Mesopotamia, known for its distinctive pottery and alien-like sculptures, is being linked to the statue. According to the University of Chicago, Ubaid's sculptures often featured snake, lizard or bird-like head shapes. But this new sculpture is not only unique, but it has the potential to open doors to research related to many social practices.

Importance of this discovery

According to experts, this statue is the first discovery of its kind found in Kuwait and the Arabian Gulf. “Discoveries related to this statue can make a major contribution to the understanding of social and cultural practices,” said Aurélie Dames, an Eastern archaeologist at Ghent University in Belgium.

Discovery raises new questions on aliens

This statue not only hints at possible contact of aliens with ancient civilizations, but also presents a new challenge to history and science.
