Mother-in-law eloped with son-in-law 10 months ago in Aligarh, now absconding with brother-in-law
The woman who eloped with her son-in-law 10 months ago in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh has once again come into the headlines. This time the son-in-law has reached the police station and lodged a complaint against the mother-in-law that she has now eloped with her brother-in-law. Along with this, she also took two lakh rupees in cash and jewelery with herself. Son-in-law and mother-in-law were living in Sitamarhi. He has a clothing business here.
Let us tell you that Sapna, a woman living in a village in Madrak area of Aligarh, had eloped with her future son-in-law Rahul in April 2025. After a few days, she herself returned. But she remained adamant to live with Rahul. After counselling, the police allowed both of them to live together.
Sapna was in touch with daughter and sister: Rahul
According to Rahul, Sapna was in contact with her daughter, sister and brother-in-law for the past several days. He was having a dispute with Sapna’s sister. But later it was resolved through talks. Rahul told, it was the day of 6th February, when he had gone out for work. Just then his brother-in-law came home. He seduced Sapna and took her with him. During this, Sapna also took with her two lakh rupees in cash and jewellery.
Police did not take action
Rahul first informed the police in Sitamarhi district. But he did not get any kind of help. Later he lodged a complaint at Dado police station in Aligarh. According to Dadon police station in-charge Sarita Dwivedi, since the incident took place in Bihar, no action can be taken from there.
Husband also got married for the second time
Sapna has two children. A daughter was about to get married, which went waste because of Sapna. Sapna also has a son. It is being told that after eloping with her son-in-law, her husband also got married for the second time. According to the villagers, he got married for the second time only 15 days ago.
