Pakistani social media influencer and content creator Alina Amir, known for her viral lip-sync videos and quirky on-screen persona, found herself at the center of criticism during Bridal Couture Week 2025.
Alina walked the ramp for Shoaib Ismail’s bridal collection, Dehleez-e-Ishq, where Hira Mani was the showstopper. While on stage, Alina appeared to struggle for attention, adjusting her position to fit within camera frames and occasionally pushing fellow models aside. Her visible frustration with being overlooked drew immediate attention from both the audience and social media users.
Clips of her ramp behavior quickly circulated online, prompting criticism and memes. Many fans expressed disappointment, with comments highlighting her attempts to steal the spotlight. One user wrote, “Alina is trying too hard to get into the frame.” Another added, “Hira Mani shines naturally; Alina is just trying to keep up.”
Despite the backlash, Alina continues to maintain a strong online presence, with 2 million Instagram followers and 2.2 million TikTok fans, proving her influence extends beyond the runway. The incident has sparked a debate about the challenges social media stars face when transitioning to traditional fashion events.
