Amid growing concerns about her health, Alka Yagnik issued an official statement on social media. Explaining the reason for using the wheelchair, he asked the fans to remain calm. Alka told that she was recovering from illness and was very tired due to a long day at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Due to this fatigue, he took the help of a wheelchair while going out. He reassured the fans and wrote, ‘Please all of you do not worry. I am now feeling much better than before. My health is improving positively. I am deeply grateful for all the prayers and support that are giving me the strength to continue my recovery.

Alka Yagnik, who looked very emotional after receiving Padma Bhushan, also shared a very beautiful note. She wrote that even though it was difficult for her to reach there due to ill health, she wanted to attend the ceremony to honor the love of her fans.
