All India Steel Conclave 2.0 concluded in Nava Raipur, world famous Bollywood writer and poet Javed Akhtar also participated.
Raipur. The two-day All India Steel Conclave 2.0 successfully concluded today in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. In the concluding program of this national level Steel Conclave organized at Mayfair Lake Resort, Nava Raipur, the future of the steel industry and the policies being made for them were discussed in detail. World famous Bollywood writer and poet Javed Akhtar also participated in the closing programme.
All India Steel Conclave Chairman Ramesh Aggarwal said that the event was better than expected. More than 1500 delegates from different states of the country and abroad participated in the conclave. Over two days, over 50 speakers, policy-makers and exhibitors gathered to discuss the technologies ahead, challenges, government policies and other topics.
Chairman Ramesh Aggarwal described this conclave as beneficial for all the industrialists and said that there was an opportunity to meet and know many new industrialists, which has given a new direction for work in future.
CM Sai had started the program
It is noteworthy that 1500 delegates from 17 states had reached the capital Raipur to participate in the All India Steel Conclave 2.0. On Friday, January 10, Chief Minister Sai along with Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan and MP Brijmohan Aggarwal started this national level program by lighting the lamp.
During his address at the program, CM Sai had said that we are working with steely will to build a developed Chhattisgarh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of producing 300 million tonnes of steel by 2030 and Chhattisgarh will play the most important role in achieving this target. Chief Minister Sai said that Chhattisgarh is celebrating the silver jubilee year of its establishment. 1500 delegates from 17 states will brainstorm on the challenges and new opportunities of the steel industry here for two days. I am confident that the discussion held here will give a new direction to the progress of Chhattisgarh and the country along with the steel sector. He said that organizing All India Steel Conclave 2.0 will not only encourage the steel industry in the state but will also be beneficial for MSMEs.
Chief Minister Sai further said that there are a lot of opportunities for the steel industry in Chhattisgarh. We have sufficient quantity of minerals like iron ore and coal as well as electricity required for the steel industry. We rank third in the country in steel production. We are proud that our state is the power house of the country's economy. He reiterated the target of creating 5 lakh new jobs through the new industrial policy and said that this will be accomplished only with the cooperation of all of you.
During this, the Chief Minister also shared the government's vision on Single Window System 2.0 and new industrial policy. Single Window System 2.0 is such an innovative platform, through which industries, businesses and startups in the state are getting all the facilities on one portal. Commerce and Industry Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan said that the government has prepared an investment-friendly industrial policy and this is attracting investment in the state.
