All parties have prepared the blueprint of candidates for Jharkhand Assembly elections…

)Ranchi: Before the Jharkhand Assembly elections, all the parties are busy brainstorming the names of winning candidates. The round of opinion polling is going on. Many sitting MLAs are confused about the ticket. The phase of party change continues. Apart from this, there are some leaders in parties like JMM, BJP, Congress, AJSU who are certain to contest elections. However, there is suspense regarding some seats. It has been decided which leaders will contest from JMM! The first name in this list is that of Hemant Soren. India alliance is going to contest elections under his leadership. Hemant Soren will contest elections from his traditional seat Barhet. Hemant Soren will contest from this seat to score a hat-trick of victory. In 2014, he had defeated Hemlal Murmu, who had switched from JMM to BJP, by a huge margin. Hemant Soren got 46.18 percent votes. In 2019, Hemant Soren defeated BJP's Simon Malto. He got 53.49 percent votes. JMM candidates have been winning in all the four elections held since the formation of the state.

)The second name is that of JMM leader cum Chief Minister's wife Kalpana Soren. It is certain that he will become the JMM candidate from Gandey. JMM's Sarfaraz Ahmed had left this seat for him. After CM, Kalpana Soren is showing the most activity from JMM. He started his political innings with victory in the by-election held in 2024. After this, Hemant Soren's younger brother Basant Soren is sure to contest from Dumka. He also won the by-election after the seat was vacated by Hemant Soren. Apart from this, the name of Deepak Birua, who is a minister in Hemant cabinet and has won three consecutive elections from Chaibasa, comes up. Ramdas Soren, who won the 2009 and 2019 elections, is sure to win in Ghatshila. The reason is that he knows very well the game of Champai Soren, who has joined BJP. After him, Garhwa MLA and Minister Mithilesh Thakur is sure to contest the election.

After losing the 2009 and 2014 elections on JMM ticket, he won in 2019. As a result, he also got a place in the cabinet for his success in the non-tribal belt. It is fixed for Minister Baby Devi to contest elections from Dumri seat. Her late husband Jagarnath Mahato has an indelible mark on Dumri. She had won the by-election after the death of her husband. After the death of Digant Haji Hussain, who gave recognition to JMM on Madhupur seat during the Corona period, his son Hafizul Hasan, who became a minister by winning the by-election, is JMM's contender from this seat. After this comes the name of Minister Baidyanath Ram. Baidyanath Ram, who was BJP MLA from Latehar seat in 2009, has now joined JMM.

In 2019, he had defeated the BJP candidate by a huge margin. The first name in the list of BJP and AJSU leaders who will contest the elections is that of Babulal Marandi. He is MLA from Dhanwar of Giridih. But there is doubt regarding the seat. According to the churning going on in the inner chambers of BJP, the party is trying to field all its big ST leaders on reserved seats. Therefore, Babulal Marandi's seat may change. Babulal Marandi, when he was the supremo of JVM, had lost the 2014 elections from CPI(ML) in Dhanwar. He defeated Laxman Prasad Singh of BJP in 2019. This time the picture regarding the seat is not clear.

Apart from this, Leader of Opposition Amar Bauri is sure to become the BJP candidate from Chandankiyari and Kamlesh Singh from Hussainabad on his traditional seat. Assam CM Himanta has also made it clear that coordination has been made with AJSU on both the seats. This time the name of Champai Soren is at the forefront from BJP quota. Since this powerful JMM leader joined BJP after leaving the post of CM, his claim on Seraikela seat is confirmed. However, through Champai, BJP is trying to worship the entire Kolhan because this is the area where BJP had to face defeat in the last elections. Champai Soren has been continuously winning from this seat in all the elections held since the formation of the state. However, they have been facing tough competition from BJP in every election except 2019 elections. Now he has joined BJP. BJP has high hopes from Champai in Kolhan.

BJP is assuming that Champai's arrival has helped in countering JMM. Champai Soren seems to be focusing on taking forward the agenda of tribal identity. His importance in BJP can be gauged from the fact that during his admission in TMH recently, PM Modi himself had called him and inquired about his well being. AJSU supremo Sudesh Mahato's Silli, Lambodar Mahato's Gomiya are included in the NDA constituents. And it is fixed for Sunita Chaudhary to contest elections from Ramgarh. The picture is not clear only regarding JDU's Saryu Rai. His figure of thirty-six with former CM Raghuvar Das is creating hurdles. However, this issue has to be resolved directly at the level of Nitish Kumar and PM Modi. But BJP is under pressure to save the honor of its strong leader Raghuvar Das.

The first name in this list of Congress leaders on whom there is no doubt is that of Minister Banna Gupta. The claim of current MLA Banna Gupta from Jamshedpur West seat is confirmed. There has been a close contest on this seat between Banna Gupta and Saryu Rai. When Saryu Rai won on BJP ticket in 2005, Banna Gupta, being the SP candidate, had given a good challenge. In 2009, he took revenge of his defeat from Saryu Rai by becoming a Congress candidate. But again in 2014, Saryu Rai leveled the match by defeating him. In 2019 the picture had changed. Contesting the elections against Saryu Rai's Raghuvar Das, Banna Gupta proved his mettle by defeating BJP's Devendra Nath Singh by a huge margin.

Jamtara MLA and Hemant cabinet minister Irfan Ansari is busy preparing for the elections with confidence. He has been the Congress MLA from Jamtara for the last two consecutive terms. After Alamgir Alam goes to jail in ED action, Congress is left with only Irfan Ansari as a minority face. That's why he was also made a minister. Muslim voters play a decisive role in this seat. However, BJP's Vishnu Prasad Bhaiya, who was the BJP candidate in 2005 and JMM's candidate in 2009, had won from here. But because of the alliance, the support of Muslim and tribal votes to Congress makes the path to victory easier. Mahagama's Congress MLA Deepika Pandey Singh is also sure to contest the election. There has been a contest between BJP and Congress on this seat. In the four elections held after the formation of the state, BJP has won twice and Congress twice. Contesting elections from Mahagama for the first time, Deepika Pandey Singh defeated strong BJP leader Ashok Kumar.

He has also been blessed by the Congress high command. The party has given many responsibilities in many states. After removing Badal Patralekh from the post of minister, Congress gave place to Deepika Pandey. Mandar MLA Shilpi Neha Tirkey is also in this list. He has handled the political ground of his father Bandhu Tirkey very well. Apart from this, as far as strong Congress leader Dr. Rameshwar Oraon is concerned, his eyes are on his traditional seat Lohardaga. But there is talk inside that Rameshwar Oraon wants to project his son this time.
