Tipster Ice Universe has indicated that the South Korean tech company will not use its in-house SoC i.e. Exynos 2500 or MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The reason why Samsung opted for Snapdragon SoC is quite interesting. Reports have suggested that the performance of the Exynos 2500 has not been satisfactory. Earlier reports from Korea said that many of Samsung's 3nm chips have not passed quality certification and this has resulted in unstable production numbers.
Early reports regarding the S25 series processors suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be powered solely by Snapdragon chipsets while the other devices were expected to be powered by Qualcomm as well as Samsung's Exynos. Since the launch of the S25 series is still a few months away, we can't confirm that the leak will definitely be true. However, as there is a high chance that the tipster mentioned above is right, we cannot call the leak wrong.
Leaks have revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be better than its predecessor in terms of RAM as well as form factor.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a better design than the S24 Ultra. The device offers rounded edges compared to the S24 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 Ultra had sharp edges which made it a bit difficult to hold (for long periods of time). The edges would sting the hand and it was not a nice feeling at all. However, since the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have rounded edges, the device will fit comfortably in your hands.
Talking about RAM, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will get some upgrade. 16GB RAM will be provided in all storage variants. S24 Ultra had 12GB RAM in the base variant as well as in other variants. This means that the base model of the S25 Ultra will be slightly more expensive than the S24 Ultra.
