Public Holidays: The state government has declared holidays for the year 2025 for the state government officers and employees. According to the holiday calendar for the year 2025 released by the General Administration, a total of 80 holidays will be given to government employees next year, which will include 25 general holidays and 55 optional holidays.

Apart from this, holidays will also be given on every Saturday and Sunday. According to the order issued by the Ministry of General Administration Department, there will be a total of 16 public holidays in the year 2025. However, big festivals like Republic Day, Moharram, Vaisakhi, Diwali are falling on Sunday, due to which no separate holidays will be given for these festivals.
