Shaurya Dhar, resident of Civil Line police station area, has alleged that his sister Richa Dwivedi, aged 58, suddenly fell ill on March 20, after which Shaurya admitted his sister to Cosmos Hospital Moradabad. Treatment of the victim’s sister was started by hospital doctors Rakesh Kumar, Apoorva Mittal and Nimesh Gupta. The victim kept getting his sister treated at Cosmos Hospital Moradabad on cash payment basis. On the instructions of Dr. Rakesh Kumar, he got his sister dialyzed 8 times. On March 31, the victim’s sister was discharged from the hospital. During her 11-day stay in the hospital, approximately Rs 2.5 lakh was spent on the applicant’s sister, but even after spending so much money, there was no benefit in her sister’s health. Victim Shaurya Dhar alleges that Dr. Rakesh Kumar, who treats patients by calling himself a Nephrologist specialist, whereas the reality is that Dr. Rakesh Kumar does not have any such specialist qualification. So that he can call himself a nephrologist (kidney specialist). Managing Director of Cosmos Hospital, Dr. Anurag Aggarwal is also involved in this fraudulent business being done by Dr. Rakesh Kumar to the people. These two people together extort money from people in the name of getting kidney treatment done. Whereas clear guidelines have been given by the Uttar Pradesh government that no extra recovery can be made from Rs 1500 to Rs 3500 for any dialysis, whereas Dr. Anurag Aggarwal and Dr. Rakesh used to charge Rs. 15000 in the name of dialysis, the proof of which is available with the victim. Thus, it is clear that Cosmos Hospital is cheating the public with the aim of giving itself undue benefits. Treats people by calling such doctors as experts who do not have any kind of specialty. When the applicant complained about this fraud to the hospital administration after getting information about this fraud, the family would be killed or would be implicated in a false case and sent to jail. Victim Shaurya Dhar has filed a complaint on the Chief Minister’s portal and pleaded for justice. Also, strict action should be taken against the hospital.
