Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 rakes in Rs 900 crore before release – How did it happen?

New Delhi: Allu Arjun’s much-awaited sequel Pushpa: The Rule is making waves even before hitting the screens. Starring the stylish star alongside Rashmika Mandanna, this high-octane film is all set to release on December 6. Directed by Sukumar, the film has already captured the attention of fans and critics alike. The buzz around the movie is so strong that it’s already made a massive Rs 900 crore in pre-release business.

According to reports, Pushpa 2 has already earned Rs 900 crore, thanks to OTT and satellite deals. Streaming giant Netflix bagged the digital rights for a whopping Rs 270 crore, while the theatrical rights were reportedly sold for Rs 650 crore. Prime Video also secured a deal worth Rs 50 crore, making this the highest pre-release earnings for any Indian film to date. The film’s multi-platform success has set new benchmarks in the industry.

Pushpa 2 is not just a sequel but also a trailblazer in terms of language releases. It will be the first-ever Pan-India film to be released in Bengali, expanding its reach to a whole new audience.

On Thursday (October 17), Allu Arjun dropped a stunning new poster of his character, Pushpa, in deep thought and intense style. The poster created an online frenzy, especially after Australian cricketer David Warner, a known fan of the actor, commented, “Good luck legend.”
