Top Telugu actor Allu Arjun was interrogated by police for over three hours on Tuesday in connection with the stampede at a theatre, in which a woman lost her life.
Arjun’s lawyer Ashok Reddy told the media that the actor fully cooperated with the investigators during the questioning.
Arjun reached the Chikkadpally police station along with his father Allu Aravind a little after 11 am and the questioning was held till 2.45 pm.
“He cooperated with the Police fully. If required, they said they’ll call him again. They (the police) wanted to question him and he cooperated. They treated him very well,” Reddy said.

The stampede took place at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad earlier this month on the occasion of the screening of the actor’s latest film Pushpa-2. A woman was killed in the incident while her eight-year-old son is still in coma at a city hospital.
According to reports, the police asked the actor about his entry into the theatre, his exit and the role of bouncers in crowd controlling.
The stampede took place when Arjun arrived at the theatre for the special screening. The government had claimed that the actor had been denied permission to visit the theatre.
Police asked the actor whether he was aware of the permission being denied for his visit. The investigators also questioned him on whether he was aware of the tragic incident while watching the film inside the theatre.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday said the theatre management had submitted a letter to the police on December 2 seeking security for the visit of top actors and others on December 4. However, the police rejected the application, citing difficulties in crowd management.
Arjun, however, refuted the claim and said nothing of that sort of information had been given to him.
