Protest and Demands
Apart from vandalizing Allu Arjun’s property, the protesters held placards, burned an effigy of the actor, and caused significant damage, including breaking plant pots. They demanded Rs 1 crore in compensation for the family of the deceased woman and her son.
Although Allu Arjun has not yet commented on the vandalism at his home, his father and producer, Allu Aravind, addressed the media regarding the incident. He condemned the attack and emphasized that such actions should never be encouraged.
Speaking to the press, Allu Aravind said, “Everyone has seen what happened at our house today. But it is time for us to act accordingly. Now is not the right time for us to react to anything.”
He added, “The police are ready to take away anyone else who comes here to create a ruckus. No one should encourage incidents like these. But I will not react just because the media is here. Now is the time to practice restraint. The law will take its own course.”
Arrests Made
Reports suggest that six people have been arrested in connection with the incident. On December 4, the makers of Pushpa 2 organized a special screening for fans in Hyderabad at Sandhya Theater. During the event, which was also attended by Allu Arjun, an influx of fans rushed towards the exit to catch a glimpse of their favourite star. This led to a stampede, resulting in the tragic death of a 35-year-old woman and critical injuries to her son.
