Allu Arjun’s new film announced; Working with this director for the first time

Allu Arjun’s new film has been announced on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Pongal and Bhogi. For his 23rd film, Allu Arjun is teaming up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Lokesh Kanagaraj announced this new movie today. An announcement video of the project has been released. The title of the film is yet to be announced. For now it will be known as “AA 23”.

Lokesh Kanagaraj posted a video announcing the film. In the post, Lokesh wrote, “Allu Arjun, I am excited to start this journey with you. Let’s have a blast. Once again with my brother Anirudh Ravichandran.” Lokesh’s post clearly indicates that the film will have music by Anirudh. This movie will be produced by Maitri Movie Makers. It is also clear that filming will begin this year.

Allu Arjun also shared a video of the announcement on his Instagram. Posting it, he wrote, “I say 23. Going to rock. Simple-minded. Mentally dedicated. That’s for sure. Excited about this new journey with the incomparable Lokesh Kanagaraj garu. Finally teaming up with brother Anirudh Ravichandran. Looking forward to this film.”

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this is Lokesh Kanagaraj’s seventh film. He is working with Allu Arjun for the first time. On the work front, Allu Arjun was earlier seen in “Pushpa 2”. Currently he is busy with his upcoming film with Atlee. The film is being made in a big way. Deepika Padukone will also be seen in the lead role. Not much information has been revealed yet. Lokesh Kanagaraj’s last film was “Coolie”, which was released in 2025. Rajinikanth played the lead role in the film. Apart from Rajinikanth, actors like Aamir Khan, Upendra, Nagarjuna and Soubin Shaheer also played prominent roles.
