The Rule earned a whopping Rs 1085 crore before release! – Obnews

The Rule is one of the most awaited films of this year and everyone is eagerly waiting for it. National Award winner Allu Arjun is all set to make a comeback with the unmatched and unforgettable personality of Pushparaj. The excitement among the fans for the film is continuously reaching its peak, while the film has started breaking records even before its release, achieving a total pre-release collection of Rs 1085 crore.

Ahead of the film's release, it has reportedly earned a whopping Rs 1085 crore. This incredible feat is a record-breaking deal and one of the most profitable film deals ever made in India. Reportedly, the theatrical rights alone have been sold for Rs 640 crore. Meanwhile, the film has bagged one of the biggest digital deals ever, with Netflix acquiring the rights for Rs 275 crore.

If we look at the overall pre-release business of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2: The Rule, the film has collected Rs 220 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Rs 200 crore in North, Rs 50 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 30 crore in Karnataka, Rs 30 crore in Kerala, 20 crores and has earned Rs. 140 crores in foreign markets. Additionally, music rights have been sold for Rs 65 crore and satellite rights have been sold for Rs 85 crore. The film has earned Rs 425 crore from its non-theatrical rights.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is scheduled to release in theaters worldwide on December 6, 2024. Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, it stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. The music of the film is by T Series.
