Aloo Pitha Recipe: As soon as the cold season arrives, we feel like eating lots of good and hot things. People who are fond of food have a lot of fun in this season. Material
- Rice flour – 2 cups
- Boiled potatoes – 4-5 (medium size)
- Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Green chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
- Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Oil – for frying on pan
- Green coriander – for decoration
Recipe (Aloo Pitha Recipe)
1- To make Aloo Pitha, first boil water in a vessel and add a pinch of salt in it. Gradually add rice flour and knead it. Make sure that the dough is soft and smooth. Cover it and keep it for 10-15 minutes.
2- Now peel the boiled potatoes and mash them well.
Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt as per taste. Mix the mixture well and prepare the stuffing.
3- Now make small balls of rice flour.
Roll them gently and place potato stuffing in the middle.
Fold the edges and close it and flatten it slightly. Heat the pan and apply light oil in it.
4- Place the prepared pitha on the pan and cook till it turns golden from both the sides. Use oil as per requirement. Serve the potato pitha with hot sauce, green chutney, or curd. In winter, the pleasure of eating it with ginger tea doubles.
