Monday also had high expectations after seeing the release of the film Alpha on Sunday. But the desired result did not appear. Alfa failed miserably in the Monday test. Yesterday i.e. on Monday the film could earn only Rs 3.85 crores. However, the collection for the last 3 days was quite good.

Better start than opening day

The film collected around Rs 9.25 crore nett in India on the first day i.e. Friday. This figure came in more than 7500 shows. There were good earnings abroad also, due to which the worldwide gross reached around Rs 15-16 crores. The trade had expressed low expectations initially, but Alia’s star power and spy theme helped.

India’s gross reached close to 40.80 crores. Total grossed abroad was Rs 18 crore. Worldwide gross reached 58-60 crores. The audience praised it verbally, especially liking the pairing of Alia-Sharvari and Hrithik Roshan’s cameo.

Main reasons for decline in Monday test

In fact, on Monday the occupancy of the film in theaters fell to just 10.97%. While on Sunday it was running 7,439 shows across the country, on Monday it came down to 5,128 shows. This is the first women-centric film of YRF Spy Universe, but due to the mixed response from critics and audiences, the path of Working Days seems to be quite difficult.
