Amanda Seyfried shares protective bond with Sydney Sweeney

Amanda Seyfried has spoken openly about her close relationship with actress Sydney Sweeney. She said she feels deeply protective of her co-star and would do anything to support her, especially during challenging moments in the public eye.

The two actresses have recently been seen together while promoting their upcoming film The Housemaid. Their frequent appearances have drawn attention, highlighting a strong bond that extends beyond the screen.

In an interview on the Collider Ladies Night podcast, Seyfried reflected on her journey in Hollywood. Having recently turned 40, she said her age and 25 years of experience in the industry have given her confidence and perspective. She believes this allows her to offer meaningful guidance to younger actors.

Seyfried also addressed the intense scrutiny Sydney Sweeney has faced over the past year. She said this criticism made her feel even more protective, noting how difficult it can be for young stars to navigate fame and constant public judgment.

She shared that from the moment she met Sweeney, she felt an immediate sense of responsibility and care. Seyfried said she is confident that Sweeney trusts her and would come to her for advice if needed.

The Housemaid is based on the 2022 novel by author Freida McFadden. The story follows Millie, played by Sweeney, a young woman with a dark past who begins working as a housekeeper for a wealthy family known as the Winchesters.
