Amazon founder Jeff Bezos denies marriage rumours, says 'This is completely false'
Washington: Amazon founder Jeff Bezos denied rumors of his wedding to Lauren Sanchez in a lavish ceremony close to Christmas. A report claimed that Bezos and his fiancee are going to have a $600 million wedding in Aspen, Colorado on December 28. Bezos called this news completely false and wrote on social media, “Also, this whole thing is completely false, nothing like this is happening.” He warned followers that now lies can spread very fast and they should be cautious.
Pershing Square CEO Bill Ackman reposted the Post's article with the caption, “This is not credible. You can't spend that much money unless you buy a house for each of your guests.”
Bezos responded, “Also, this whole thing is completely false, there is no such thing happening.”

“The old adage ‘don’t believe everything you read’ is truer today than ever. Now the lie can spread throughout the world, even before the truth comes out. So be careful and don't be naive.”
According to the outlet, Bezos then called out the publications that posted the false news, saying, “It will be interesting to see if all the outlets that 'covered' this issue and reported again, when it comes and goes and so. “If it doesn’t happen, do they improve?”
Furthermore, this whole thing is completely false — none of this is happening. The old adage “don’t believe everything you read” is even more true today than it ever has been. Now lies can get ALL the way around the world before the truth can get its pants on. So be careful out…

Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to the post, saying, “Like I said, I hope you have a great wedding. It feels good to know that great events are happening somewhere in the world, even if no one is present. A world where amazing events happen anywhere is better than a world where they are happening nowhere.
That said, I hope you do hold an epic wedding.
It’s nice to know that epic events are happening somewhere in the world, even if one is not present.
A world where there are amazing events somewhere is better than a world where they are happening nowhere.
