A decision of Joe Biden spoiled Trump's mood, why will the American flag be lowered at the future swearing-in ceremony?

Washington: While on one hand, newly elected President Donald Trump is going to take oath as the 47th President of America on January 20, but you will be surprised to know that on this special occasion, America's national flag will be flown at half mast.

Probably, this is happening for the first time in the history of America, when during the swearing-in ceremony of a President, the national flag of that country will not be flying proudly. This order has been given by outgoing President Joe Biden, whose tenure is going to end on January 20.

Let us tell you that the American flag has been at half mast since the death of former US President Jimmy Carter on December 29. Outgoing US President Joe Biden had announced that the American flag will be lowered for 30 days from Carter's death till January 28. Will stay. In such a situation, even tomorrow i.e. on January 20, with the swearing in of newly elected President Donald Trump, American flags will remain at half mast even in the first week of his assuming office and his administration.

Biden's decision and Trump's bad mood

Meanwhile, Trump is surprised and upset by this decision of Biden. They are very disappointed that now, when the national flag of the country should have flown proudly in the air at their swearing-in ceremony, it will be flying at half mast.

Now Trump is neither able to openly oppose this decision of Biden nor to welcome it happily. But the mere thought of the national flag being flown at half-mast during his swearing-in has troubled both Trump's mind and mood. He has openly expressed his frustration on this.

In this regard, Trump said that due to the death of former President Carter last week, the American flag “will be flown at half mast for the first time during the inauguration ceremony of a future president.” No American wants to see this, nor can he be happy with it. However, on Trump's comment, White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said that there are currently no plans to reconsider this decision.

Please note that Donald Trump will use the Bible given by his mother and the Lincoln Bible while taking the oath of office on January 20. In fact, Trump's mother gave him a Bible in 1955 while he was studying in primary school at the First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, New York, on which Trump's name is written at the bottom of the cover.

A record donation of more than 170 million US dollars has been made for Trump's upcoming presidential swearing-in ceremony. Big businessmen and donors have donated generously for the ceremony. (with agency input)
