America’s new President Trump has signed an executive order in which the operation of Chinese-owned short video sharing platform TikTok has been extended for 75 days. Trump said that I am doing this so that my administration can get an opportunity to systematically decide the right path to move forward.
Donald Trump has become the 47th President of America. After becoming President, he has lifted the ban on TikTok and has ordered officials to give more time to TikTok. Donald Trump has temporarily halted the ban on TikTok in the US. Chinese-owned ByteDance Limited company has got additional 75 days to sign the agreement. This agreement will address long-standing US national security concerns. Trump signed the executive order.
TikTok’s lifeline comes from an executive order signed by Trump, one of his first acts after taking office. The move gives the video-sharing platform relief from a US ban that came into effect on Sunday after ByteDance refused to comply with a law requiring the investment.
