New Delhi: America has agreed to end the naval blockade of Iran. With this, the way for opening the Strait of Hormuz has been cleared. America will end the naval blockade of Iran, in return Iran will open the Strait of Hormuz. This claim was made by Iran’s government TV channel. Iran’s state TV says it has a draft of a preliminary, non-official outline for an MOU with the US.
Iran’s state TV reported that Tehran has received a copy of an initial informal draft of an MoU with the US to end its conflict. Under this draft, Iran will restore the movement of commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz to pre-war levels within a month, while the US will withdraw its military troops from the area around Iran and end the naval blockade.
State TV said that this draft does not include changes in the deployment of warships. Apart from this, the issue of management of movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz by Iran in collaboration with Oman is such that no consensus has been reached. The draft also says that Tehran will not take any action without concrete verification.
