American action in Hormuz, claims to have shot down two Iranian drones, attack on petrol pump in Central Israel, one dead, four injured

Middle East Crisis: The US military has claimed that it has shot down two Iranian drones in the Strait of Hormuz. According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), these drones were posing a threat to merchant ships passing in the area. The army said that its forces deployed in the Middle East took this action on Saturday and they are fully prepared to immediately respond to any possible threat.

One dead, four injured

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry has accused America of violating the ceasefire. Iran says that US military action is making the situation more destabilizing instead of reducing tensions in the region. Meanwhile, one person died in an attack on a petrol pump in Central Israel, while four people were injured. According to medical officials, the condition of one of the injured remains critical.

Orders for citizens to move to safe places

According to reports, thousands of people have lost their lives and a large number have been injured in the ongoing Israeli military operations since March 2. Several deaths and dozens of injuries have been reported in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, on Saturday, news of the death of several people including a senior officer of the Lebanese Army has come to light. After these attacks, citizens in many areas have been ordered to move to safe places.

America will have further responsibility

The US has claimed that it also destroyed four Iranian drones heading towards Hormuz and took action on radar sites located on Qeshm Island. In response, Iran claimed to have fired seven ballistic missiles in the direction of Kuwait and Bahrain, which were intercepted. Iran alleges that the US has violated the ceasefire by attacking coastal radar bases on Sirik and Qeshm islands. Tehran has warned that the responsibility for any further situation will be on the US.

An amount of 12 billion dollars should be released

Meanwhile, according to CNN’s report, an important condition of the possible peace agreement is said to be the release of Iran’s frozen assets worth about $24 billion. Iran demands that along with the agreement, an amount of at least $12 billion should be released immediately, whereas America has not yet agreed on this.

The ban on properties should be lifted

Iran has also said that the biggest obstacle in talks with the US is its changing stance, making it difficult to reach any concrete agreement. According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, exchange of messages between the two countries is continuing with the mediation of Pakistan, but progress is not being made. Tehran says it wants to maintain its rights under international rules, such as its peaceful nuclear program and uranium enrichment, and that restrictions on its assets held abroad should be lifted.
