Internet personality and streamer IShowSpeed arrived in Singapore on Sunday, visiting Southeast Asia’s only Universal Studios theme park located on Sentosa Island.

During a live stream that began around 3:40 p.m., the 19-year-old American YouTuber admitted he did not know much about Singapore.

As he entered the theme park accompanied by minders and staff, several fans approached him for handshakes and selfies.

“I don’t think there’s any other country in Southeast Asia that has a Universal Studios,” Speed commented after posing for photos with characters like the Minions from the “Despicable Me” film franchise.

Universal Studios Singapore is part of Resorts World Sentosa and features 28 rides, shows, and attractions across seven themed zones. It is one of five Universal Studios theme parks worldwide.

Before arriving in Singapore, Speed had visited Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Malaysia as part of his 10-day tour of Southeast Asia.

In Malaysia, he tried durian at a food market and fried rice at a newly opened restaurant owned by celebrity Uncle Roger.

While in Ho Chi Minh City on Sept. 14, he sampled banh mi and explored Nguyen Hue walking street in the city downtown.
