Abhishek Bachchan is set to release his upcoming film I Want To Talk on November 22. Directed by Soojit Sircar, the film is about Arjun (Abhishek Bachchan), a disabled man who takes up challenges thrown at his life. Recently, Abhishek Bachchan shared a heart-warming story that is close to his heart and involves his 13-year-old daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
The actor recalled one of the moments which he spent with his daughter during her early childhood. Abhishek Bachchan found an interesting take while reading Aaradhya’s children’s book. A sentence from the book talked about courage. When Abhishek came across the book, he found the word “help” as the bravest word in the world. Abhishek said, “It means you are not ready to give up. I will do whatever it takes to carry on.”
It took no time for Abhishek Bachchan to connect the impact with his character Arjun in I Want To Talk. While addressing the media, Abhishek said, “He is not afraid to ask for help. He is not afraid to go to the hospital. He is not giving up.”
Abhishek Bachchan explained how Arjun’s character in the film has inspired him. He said, “Somebody who has dealt with the things that he has dealt with and continues to deal with, it’s very easy to be fed up after 31 odd years and say, ‘bahut ho gaya hai, abhi aur nahi karna hai’ (I’ve had enough, I don’t want to go on). But no, the fact that he is still at it, still trying… is what makes him truly courageous.”
