If media reports are to be believed, this decision has been taken after the recent rise in crude oil prices in the global market. In fact, due to the ongoing tension in West Asia, there has been a sharp rise in international oil prices, the effect of which is now visible in the domestic market.

In fact, international oil prices have increased since the war between Iran, Israel and America. Even after this, retail prices of diesel and petrol in India had remained stable for a long time, increasing cost pressure on fuel marketing companies.

Naira Energy operates about 6,967 pumps out of the total 1,02,075 petrol pumps in the country. The company has now decided to pass on some part of the increased cost to consumers. However, no official response has been received from the company on this issue yet.
