Amidst the war, America admitted – ‘Iran shot down our fighter jet, pilot also missing’

tehran/Washington, April 3. Iran claimed on Friday that it had shot down two American fighter jets. These include an F-35 and F-15 fighter jet. At the same time, America has also admitted for the first time that its fighter jet has been shot down by Iran, due to which the pilot has gone missing.

An American fighter jet was shot down over Iran and a search and rescue operation is underway for any survivors, a US official told Reuters news agency. The Wall Street Journal and Axios reported that a search and rescue operation was being conducted by the US military.

Iran deployed troops to capture American pilot

If seen, this is the first known incident of destruction of an aircraft inside Iran after President Donald Trump ordered war. At the same time, Iran has also started a search operation to capture the American pilot. Iran has deployed its soldiers for this and has also announced a reward.

It is noteworthy that this war between Iran and America has been going on for more than a month. On February 28, Israel and America jointly attacked Iran, in which Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed. Iran’s subsequent retaliation spread the conflict throughout the Middle East, shaking the global economy and affecting millions of people around the world.

There will be a reward for capturing the pilot alive

Meanwhile, Iran’s Fars news agency said, ‘Military forces have launched a search operation to find the American fighter pilot who was targeted earlier today.’ “Dear and respected people of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmed province, if you capture the enemy pilot or pilots alive and hand them over to the police and military forces, you will be given a valuable reward and bonus,” an Iranian television reporter said on the official local channel.

Throughout the war, Iran made several claims about shooting down enemy aircraft, which later proved untrue. But, this happened for the first time on Friday, when Iran appeared on television and appealed to the public to find a suspicious pilot.

Meanwhile, Iran on Friday attacked several targets across the Middle East, damaging a desalination plant that turns seawater into drinking water in Kuwait and setting a refinery on fire. At the same time, America and Israel targeted Tehran with air strikes. It has been almost five weeks since this war started.
