Amidst the war in the Middle East, 5 big good news for India, you will be shocked to know

New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing war and tension in West Asia (Middle East), a very relieving news has emerged for India. Amidst the noise all around and rumors of supply stoppage, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has clarified the situation. The government has assured that the supply of petrol, diesel and gas in the country is completely under control. The ministry has appealed to the people not to do panic buying as there is sufficient stock of fuel.

There is no shortage in fuel supply

According to the data released by the government, despite the global conditions, the supply of LPG, PNG and CNG in the country remains 100% normal. The government’s biggest emphasis is on domestic consumers. Officials have clarified that common families will not face gas shortage and the delivery of cylinders to homes will continue as smoothly as before.

Special focus on essential services

The government has made a concrete strategy not only for domestic but also for the supply of commercial LPG. Important sectors like hospitals, schools, pharma companies, steel and automobile are being given priority in supply. Besides, the agriculture sector has also been kept in the priority list so that the country’s economy and essential services continue to run without any hindrance.

Big step for migrant laborers

Keeping in mind every section of the society, the government has increased the supply of small 5 kg gas cylinders (Chhotu Cylinder). This step has been taken especially for migrant laborers and those who want to buy gas in low budget. This will provide great relief to the poor and needy class.

The expanding scope of PNG

The government is now rapidly promoting PNG i.e. piped cooking gas to reduce dependence on LPG. The ministry said that lakhs of new PNG connections have been issued. Interestingly, a large number of people have returned their old LPG connections by adopting PNG, thereby saving gas.

Tough decisions to strengthen the supply chain

The government has taken strategic steps to deal with any crisis in future. Production in refineries has been increased and the gas booking gap from cities to villages is being managed better. Besides, alternative fuels are also being promoted to reduce the pressure on LPG so that every citizen of the country feels safe.
