Amit Shah’s meeting with RSS
Kolkata, 31 December 2025 : Keeping in mind the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has taken charge. Shah, who was visiting Kolkata, had organized a very important meeting with the top brass of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. In this meeting which lasted for three hours, there was an in-depth discussion on the current political situation of Bengal and the strength of the organization.
All India, regional and state level top officials of RSS were present in this meeting held at Kolkata’s hotel Taj Tal Cottage. Sources are saying that during the meeting, a detailed strategy was prepared regarding the ground reality of Bengal, region-wise local issues and the roadmap for the next elections.
While addressing the press conference after the meeting with RSS, Amit Shah had made strong attacks on Mamata government. Appealing to the people of West Bengal, he said, “Once you give a chance to BJP, we will establish ‘good governance’ in the state by replacing fear, corruption and misgovernance.” Shah had confidently claimed that BJP will form a majority government in West Bengal in 2026.
