Amit Shah’s roar in Araria – Government’s determination to take action against infiltrators

Araria, 26 February. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that freeing the country from infiltrators is not an election promise but a determination of the Modi government at the Centre. He said this while addressing the inauguration of border out posts ‘Leti’ and ‘Indrava’ and the e-inauguration and e-foundation ceremony of various works of Sashastra Seema Bal in Araria, Bihar on Thursday.

Each infiltrator will be identified and thrown out.

Amit Shah said that each and every infiltrator will be identified and thrown out of Indian soil and concrete action in this direction will start soon. He said that under the India-Nepal Border Road Scheme, 556 km long border road has been approved, in which work on 14 out of 18 sections has been completed and work is going on at a fast pace in the remaining four sections.

Emphasis on border security and surveillance

The Home Minister said that with the completion of the road project, surveillance capacity on the border will increase and the facilities of the citizens will also improve. This will also help in taking the development plans to their final stages. Praising the Sashastra Seema Bal, he said that along with the security of the border with the friendly country, it is necessary to keep a close watch on suspicious activities.

Role of information system and marginal villages

Amit Shah stressed on maintaining better communication and contact with the border villages with the soldiers and officers of Sashastra Seema Bal, so that accurate information can be received on time and infiltration of anti-national elements can be stopped.

He said that a campaign will be launched to remove illegal encroachments within a radius of 10 kilometers from the border and the infiltrators will be identified and sent out of the country. He said that the areas most affected by demographic change are West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar and this campaign will be started soon in Seemanchal region.

Shah said that infiltrators not only influence elections but also adversely affect the ration of the poor, employment of youth and security of the nation. Appealing to the people of Seemanchal for cooperation, he said that this campaign will be successful only with public participation.
