Bollywood’s senior actor Amitabh Bachchan has indirectly responded to rumors surrounding his son Abhishek Bachchan and actress Aishwarya Rai’s alleged marital issues and divorce.
For several months Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been at the center of media speculation regarding supposed troubles in their marriage.
Rumors continue to swirl with every minor detail being interpreted as evidence of conflicts between the couple. However despite these ongoing rumors neither of them has publicly confirmed nor denied the speculation about their separation though each new piece of news tends to contradict the previous one.
The rumors gained significant traction when the couple appeared separately at the wedding of Anant Ambani in July.
Aishwarya was seen posing for pictures with their daughter Aaradhya while Abhishek appeared with his parents Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan as well as his sister Shweta Bachchan posing with the entire Bachchan family.
A doctor behind their alleged issues?
Despite the constant buzz almost every member of the Bachchan family has remained silent on the matter. However in a recent blog post Amitabh Bachchan took a subtle stand by refuting the rumors about his family calling them false and baseless.
Amitabh shared a lengthy post in which he stated “In today’s world it takes courage and sincerity to stand apart. I don’t talk about my family because it is my domain and I prefer to maintain privacy about my personal life. Speculations are nothing but lies and unverified”
The legendary actor also emphasized that “before writing anything it should be verified. I will not challenge anyone’s choice of profession”
Jaya Bachchan’s significant comment on family relations
Amitabh also expressed his disappointment over media speculation writing “You can write whatever you like but when you write with a question mark you know very well that it could be controversial. Fill the world with lies or questionable truths and your work is done”
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai married in 2007 and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011. Despite the ongoing rumors they have not addressed any concerns publicly leaving the speculation to continue.
