Let us tell you, Amitabh Bachchan used to live on rent in this bungalow built in ten bighas with his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Gar Nigam had sold this bungalow to Mahanirvani Akhara, after which 13 tenants lived here, of which Harivansh Rai Bachchan was also one. Big B lived in this house for about 9 years. Being the residence of Amitabh Bachchan, it came to be known as 'Dus Dwar Wala Bungalow'. At the same time, the name of this bungalow is also 'Suryabhedi Bhawan' because the sun's rays fall directly in each of its rooms. There are a total of 30 rooms in this entire bungalow. There is an open field behind and stairs have been made on both sides to reach the room and the terrace. At present this bungalow is under the supervision of 'Shri Shankar Indu Tiwari Prasar Trust'.

It was built by the actor's grandfather Pratap Narayan about 118 years ago. The appearance of this house, built in an area of 60×60 square yards, has now completely deteriorated. Anoop, son of Ramchander, nephew of Big B's father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, lives in the same house. In the house on which Madhushala was written, food is cooked today.
