Amitt K Singh opened up about Vadh 2’s box office performance and how he’s handling the disappointment.
During his latest candid chat, the actor, who plays Inspector Ateet Singh, told, “It does hurt.”
In an interview with Hindustan Timesthe star admitted, “A subject like this is very unpredictable. But we know we’ve done our work honestly.”
He added that viewers who have seen the film are loving it, “Kumud Mishra sir and Neena ma’am are getting so much appreciation. People are even noticing me for the first time, which is amazing. It’s disappointing, but there are bigger things to focus on.”
Moreover, he noted that film’s earnings don’t reflect the effort or talent behind it and mentioned, as an actor, he need to be honest with his work.
Furthermore, he understands why the producers want audiences in theatres, saying, “They put in money and want people to watch the film. Everyone works so hard on set. Films like Vadh 2 deserve a chance in theatres”
Meanwhile, the drama ensemble includes Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta, Kumud Mishra, Shilpa Shukla, and newcomers Amitt K Singh, Akshay Dogra, and Yogita Bihani.
