Among Us Trailer Sets Surprise Release Date for Paramount+ Sci-Fi Show

Paramount+ has shared the official trailer and surprising release date for the Among Us TV show. During the 2026 Summer Game Fest, it was announced that all ten episodes of its newest animated sci-fi comedy series are now finally available to stream on Paramount+.

“The series follows a group of eccentric, monochromatic Crewmates of a ship transporting junk across the galaxy who must root out an Impostor in their midst before they fall victim to its villainous designs,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the Among Us trailer?

The video introduces the new show’s main characters as crewmates of a spaceship, voiced by Yvette Nicole Brown as Orange, Kimiko Glenn as Cyan, Liv Hewson as Black, Ashley Johnson as Purple, Wayne Knight as Lime, Phil LaMarr as Brown, Randall Park as Red, Dan Stevens as Blue, Debra Wilson as Yellow and Computer, Elijah Wood as Green, and Patton Oswalt as White. The trailer offers a glimpse at the crazy and hilarious shenanigans that the crew will get themselves into as they try to look for the imposter among them.

The series adaptation of Among Us was created by Owen Dennis, who is also executive producing with Forest Willard, Marcus Bromander, and Carl Neisser. Titmouse is handling the show’s animation. Executive producers are Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina. It is a production by CBS Studios and Innersloth. It was based on the popular game of the same name, which became a global phenomenon in 2020. In October 2020 alone, it ranked #1 on Google Play in 66 countries and #1 on iOS in 55 countries, with Top 100 placements in nearly every market worldwide.
