Eight months pregnant woman kept moaning in pain, brother-in-law became a beast and kept raping her in the field.

Patna. An incident of brutality against a pregnant woman is coming to light in Bihar. Her brother-in-law first dragged an eight-month pregnant woman to the fields and raped her. During this time, when the woman became unconscious, the accused ran away leaving her in the fields in an unconscious state. The woman lived alone in the house with her father-in-law and three-year-old son. The victim’s husband works as a laborer in Delhi. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case and started investigating the case.

While giving statement to the police, the victim woman, resident of a village in Nawada district of Bihar, said that she had left the house for defecation at 1 o’clock on Saturday night. During this time, the accused brother-in-law, who was in the relationship, caught hold of her from behind and pulled her by her hair and took her to the fields. Due to being eight months pregnant, the female accused was not able to protest strongly. Even after this, the woman scratched and bit the accused with her nails. Even after this, the accused threw the woman on the ground and raped her. After raping Karen, the accused brother-in-law fled leaving the woman unconscious in the field. When the woman was not found at home on Sunday morning, the father-in-law and the villagers reached the fields in search of the woman, where the woman was found in an unconscious state.

While confirming the case, city police station incharge Umashankar Singh said that on the basis of the complaint of the victim, a case of rape has been registered against the accused brother-in-law. Forensic team has been sent to the spot. Soil samples, clothing and other possible evidence have been collected. The police team is continuously raiding to arrest the accused.
