This survey gives information about the feelings and expectations of Indian consumers before the Union Budget presented on 1 February 2025. In the year 2025, a declining confidence and mixed emotion in the spirit of Indian consumers appear. Although 67 percent of Indians have admitted that the budget of 2024 can be according to their expectations, this number has been decreasing continuously since 2022. Relief in Indian Consumer Income Tax, increased exemption limit of medical insurance and measures to deal with inflation are being demanded. However, concerns about misuse of AI and financial security are increasing. Concerns about economic recession due to global challenges have reduced in comparison to last year. Most people hope from this time the budget that the year 2025 will focus on encouraging economic growth by implementing the Union Budget Protectionist Policy. This can cause challenges like continuous development, employment generation and high cost of life.

67 percent of Indians believe that the upcoming budget can prove to be a standing on their expectations. However, the figures of people with positive thinking about it have decreased significantly in the last 2 years. This figure has come down from 73 percent to 70 percent in the year 2022. Due to which it has become clear that over time, the consent of the public on the budget also shows the decline.
