Andhra Pradesh: Executive Director of Reliance Industries Anant Ambani They are once again in the limelight due to their religious beliefs and sense of social responsibility. On Sunday, he visited the famous Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Andhra Pradesh. During this visit, he completed the ritual of shaving and Bhagwan of Tirupati Balaji Charani offered her hair. Anant Ambani also made some important announcements regarding the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). He noted that the person who chooses God despite everything he has is truly the richest. He said that name, wealth and fame stay behind, but only faith accompanies the journey.

Important announcements by Anant Ambani

Before entering the main temple, Anant Ambani participated in the morning ritual. Then, following the temple’s centuries-old tradition, he offered his hair to Lord Venkateswara. Every year lakhs of devotees donate their hair to the Tirumala temple to express their devotion and surrender. According to Hindu belief, this act is considered a symbol of renunciation of ego and complete surrender to God. After the darshan, Anant Ambani made an important announcement for the convenience of the devotees. He announced that Reliance Industries will donate 25 electric buses worth around Rs 27.5 crore to TTD. These buses will provide eco-friendly and convenient transportation for devotees visiting Tirumala. The company will also help operate these buses and provide necessary charging facilities.

A new gift for Tirumala Goshala

Anant Ambani also promised help for modernization of Tirumala Goshala (cow-protection centre). He himself fed the elephants in the temple premises, showing his deep love for animal welfare and conservation. His wildlife conservation initiative ‘Vantara’ is already in the limelight and during this visit he once again conveyed the message of animal welfare. After the ritual was completed, the Vedic scholars gave them ‘Veda Ashirwadvachan’. The temple administration gave him ‘Shrivari Tirtha Prasad’ and honored him by throwing a traditional silk shawl on his shoulders. This honor is conferred on distinguished devotees on special occasions.

Anant Ambani’s second visit to Tirumala this month

This is the second visit of Anant Ambani to Tirumala in the month of June. Earlier, he visited here along with father Mukesh Ambani and wife Radhika Merchant to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. Their frequent religious visits show that spirituality plays an important role in their lives. Anant Ambani’s visit conveyed not only religious devotion, but also social messages like environmental conservation, facilities for devotees and animal welfare.
