Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanzar sought immediate details from Karachi’s Additional Inspector General of Police and said, “No one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.” He also asked to increase security at sensitive establishments and decide on alternative routes to keep traffic flowing during the protests. “Law enforcement agencies are on full alert and are keeping a close watch on the situation,” the minister said. He said that action will be taken as per law against those who violate law and order.
