Anil Ambani’s son Jai got a big blow from Delhi High Court, know in which case it refused to interfere

Union Bank of India Show Cause Notice: Jai Anmol Ambani, son of the country’s well-known industrialist Anil Ambani, has received a big blow from the Delhi High Court. In fact, information is coming to light that the court refused to grant an interim stay on the show-cause notice issued to them by Union Bank of India. While hearing the petition for stay, Justice Jasmeet Kaur said that the court cannot interfere at this stage.

Delhi High Court directed Reliance Home Finance Limited (RHFL) director and son of industrialist Anil Ambani to file a reply to the bank within 10 days. Apart from this, the court made it clear that the effect of any interim order issued by the bank will depend on the order given in this petition.

What did Delhi High Court say? (What did the Delhi High Court say?)

Delhi High Court asked Jai Anmol Ambani to respond to the show-cause notice in this matter. Furthermore, the Court said that present your arguments; Whatever you say, they will respond to it. We will not stop the show-cause notice of the bank. The court also asked the bank to submit a detailed order in this regard. During the hearing, the lawyer representing Jai Anmol Ambani argued that there were mistakes in the notice issued by the bank on December 22, 2025.

The lawyer argued that this scheme has already been approved by all the lending banks as well as the Supreme Court. Therefore, no question of any allegation of fraud against the company arises.

Jay Anmol’s lawyer’s arguments did not work

Jai Anmol Ambani’s lawyer also argued that the bank had the relevant information from 2020 itself and hence issuing the notice after 5 years was against the law. Meanwhile, the lawyer representing the bank opposed the petition. The bank’s counsel argued that when the show-cause notice was issued, the court’s jurisdiction was limited.
