Mumbai Actor Anil Kapoor’s action thriller series-24 is going to be streamed on Jio Hotstar on 24th April this month itself. The series starring Anil Kapoor in the lead role has garnered a huge fan following due to its real-time story, fast pace and high production values. This is a format that often garners a lot of buzz both on OTT platforms and in theatres. Episodes of both seasons of this edge-of-the-seat thriller series will be available to stream on Jio Hotstar from April 24, with eight episodes releasing every Friday. Anil is playing the role of ATU Chief Jai Singh Rathore in this series, who protects Mumbai from terrorist attacks. Anil Kapoor shared a video on his Instagram handle and informed about the digital return of the show. Anil Kapoor wrote that against time, against every difficulty! Come on, let’s do it!

The return of the web series – 24 comes at a time when audiences are leaning more towards fast-paced and genre-based content. On the digital comeback of this series, Anil Kapoor said that I have played many powerful and action-packed characters in the last few years, but the web series – 24 was not just another show for me. It was an adrenaline rush like never before. Its pace, its pressure and its real-time storytelling kept me on my toes, both as an actor and as a storyteller. This is a project that challenged me in the best possible way and which is still very close to my heart. I am very excited that it is now coming to Jio Hotstar and I can’t wait for the audience to experience that thrill once again. The first season of 24, which originally aired on Colors TV, began in October 2013 and ended in December 2013, while the second season aired between July 2016 and October 2016. The show is based on an American series of the same name. Anil Kapoor was recently seen in a series named Subedaar, which was released on Amazon Prime Video.
