Anil Sharma got emotional after watching ‘Ikkis’, remembered Dharmendra with tears in his last film

Dharmendra’s last film ‘Ikkis’ is going to be released in theaters on January 1, 2026, and on this occasion, one of the biggest reactions so far regarding the film has come from ‘Gadar’ director Anil Sharma.
Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda is going to start his acting career on the big screen with ‘Ikkis’. Earlier, Agastya had worked in Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film ‘Archies’ in the year 2023. Now he is going to make his mark on the silver screen with this film.
Anil Sharma gave an emotional response
Anil Sharma watched the film and shared his feelings on social media. He wrote, “Saw Dharam ji in his last film, I am shaken to the core. Saw him with teary eyes. What a performer he was. He left us with dignity, grace and unforgettable memories. My best wishes to the entire team.”
Dharmendra has worked with Anil Sharma in many hit films, which include films like ‘Hukumat’, ‘Elaan-e-Jung’, ‘Farishte’, ‘Tehelka’. Anil has also directed Dharmendra’s son Sunny Deol’s blockbuster films ‘Gadar’ and ‘Gadar 2’.
Who are in ‘Ikkis’
Apart from Dharmendra and Agastya Nanda, Jaideep Ahlawat, Vivaan Shah and Sikandar Kher will also be seen in important roles in the film. It has been directed by Sriram Raghavan and the film is a war drama based on the bravery and patriotism of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal.
