Animal smuggling busted in Garhwan Toli, 15 animals along with weapons and other items recovered

Daughter. Kalibagh police station has exposed a big network of animal smuggling and recovered huge amount of goods along with 15 cattle. This action of the police created a stir in the area. Two smugglers have been arrested in the case and further legal action is being taken. According to the information, at around 12:30 am on the intervening night of 27-28 May, Kalibagh police station’s Additional Police Station President Simran Kumari received secret information that a large-scale game of animal smuggling was going on in Garhwan Toli Ward No. 10 of the police station area. As soon as the information was received, a police team was formed after informing the senior officers.

Additional Police Station President Simran Kumari along with police force Parshuram Kumar, Afroz Qamar, Vinod Rai, PTC Mukesh Kumar and police station reserve guard raided the spot. During the operation, the police recovered a total of 15 animals including 7 big cows and 8 calves. During the raid, the police also seized 5 big sharp knives, a press, a scale, a 5 kg buttkhada, about four dozen yards of iron and a mobile phone from the spot. Police have arrested two accused from the spot.

The arrested accused have been identified as Dilnawaz Alam (20), son of Firoz Khan, resident of Garhwan Toli, and Amjad Khan, son of Bicchu alias Shahid Khan. In this regard, the police have registered Kalibag police station case number 146/26 and started a thorough investigation of the case.
