Anita Hasanandani narrated a heartbreaking incident from her school days, said- 'He used to take off his pants in front of us'

Now, the actress has revealed in an interview that she had to face molestation during her school days, when she was just 9 or 10 years old.

Faced molestation incident during school days

Actually, in a latest interview given to Hauterrfly, Anita Hasanandani told that she was molested when she was in school. The actress said, “When we were in school, mother used to give us 10 rupees to go in a rickshaw and while coming back we used to come on foot. We used to save money to eat samosa or something else in the canteen. When we used to come on foot, there used to be a rickshaw puller and this used to happen once a week or not every day.”

She further said, “One rickshaw driver would stand in the same position, take off his pants and start touching himself while looking at us in a disturbing manner.” The actress further said that after the incident, they changed the route but despite changing the route, they still feared that the driver might still follow them, especially since it was an all-girls school. She added, “He knew the route and also owned a rickshaw, so we used to get scared whenever a rickshaw came near the school.”

Anita took a break of five years

Anita Hasanandani got a lot of recognition from Star Plus' serial 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'. Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel played the lead roles in this show. After becoming a mother, Anita took a break from work for five years. Now the actress has returned to TV with Suman Indori show. Shweta Gautam, Zain Imam and Ashnoor Kaur are also in the lead roles in the show.
