Anmol Kharb wins second consecutive title on BWF continental circuit

The teenage sensation Anmol Kharb clinched her second consecutive title on the BWF Continental Circuit, winning the Polish International Series with a dominant straight-game victory in the final on Sunday.

Anmol faced seventh-seeded Milena Schnider of Switzerland in the final, but the 17-year-old, riding the momentum from last week, secured a comfortable (21-12, 21-8) win in just 33 minutes.

Anmol had no world titles before this month, but now she has two consecutive victories to her name, showcasing her steady improvement on the world stage.

With this victory, she is now close to breaking into the world’s top 100. If she maintains her consistency in forthcoming tournaments, she could soon enter the top 100 and participate in the BWF World Tour.

Anmol had an outstanding run on the final day of the Polish International, winning both her semifinal and final matches in straight games, knocking out the fourth and seventh seeds, respectively.

In the semifinals, she dominated Frederikke Lund of Denmark (21-15, 21-12), securing her spot in the final after a match that lasted just 33 minutes.

She didn’t drop a single game throughout the entire tournament, and her dominance was evident as, in three of the ten games she played, her opponents couldn’t even reach double digits.

However, the real test for the youngster will begin when she competes against the top players in major events. To succeed, she will need to focus on her training and maintain consistency.
