Anna Hazare’s appeal – Government should not wait for any tragic situation in Sonam Wangchuk case.
New Delhi, 18 July. Veteran social activist Anna Hazare has appealed to the Central Government in the matter of the environmental activist who has been on hunger strike for the last 21 days, saying that the government should hold talks without waiting for any tragic situation.
It is noteworthy that in the early hours of Saturday, Anshanrat Wangchuk was forcibly picked up by Delhi Police and taken to Safdarjung Hospital as part of the ongoing agitation at Jantar Mantar in the national capital under the banner of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the paper leak case of NEET UG and other examinations. However, Wangchuk has refused to take any other treatment including medicine in the hospital.

Rahul wrote in X post, ‘The basic principles of Modi government are untruth and violence. It is wrong to remove Sonam Wangchuk ji from Jantar Mantar who was on a peaceful hunger strike. Paper leaks, rising cost of education and student suicides are very serious issues related to the future of India.
