Chennai. Recently, a case of alleged sexual harassment of a student came to light in Anna University Campus, Chennai. There is anger in the entire state regarding this incident. Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai is also very angry. He whipped himself demanding justice. There were also attacks on the state government. He announced a day before that he would be on a fast for 48 days.

What is the matter?
The incident at Anna University has shaken the entire Chennai. The politics of Tamil Nadu has started heating up. Here an engineering student was sexually harassed. The matter came to light when the student herself complained about it to the police. Initially the police took the case lightly and did not take any action. The police came into action when the case surfaced on social media. Police arrested an accused in the case. The 37-year-old accused sells biryani near the university campus. The incident is of 23 December.
Police formed four teams
The student told that she was talking to her friend in the college campus at around 8 pm on Monday night. Then the accused reached there and sexually harassed her. Greater Chennai Metropolitan Police said in a statement that the victim lodged a complaint at the Kotturpuram women's police station and a case was registered. According to the statement, four special teams have been formed for investigation.
