This is done so that health services can be improved. But due to departmental corruption, before the benefits of all the schemes reach the general public, they become a thing for the enjoyment of corrupt departmental officials and those responsible involved in corruption earn government money illegally, then how can the benefits of government health services reach the general public.
Talking about Health Department Balrampur, the case of former Superintendent Tulsipur and Asha dispute is in the news at present. Where many exploits of former CSC Tulsipur Superintendent Dr. Suman Singh Chauhan have been exposed. In which many ASHAs were treated indecently and personal medicines were sold by the favorite ASHAs from their residence, fake enclosures in ASHA appointments and ignoring government orders along with getting the delivery of patients without any female medical help from the favorite ASHAs and forcibly buying their expensive medicines. Along with forcing other ASHAs to send their honorarium to the accounts of their desired ASHAs, if any ASHA brought a poor patient to CHC Tulsipur for delivery, then he would not be discharged for not buying medicines and not giving the discharge receipt for many weeks and many other cases. have come to light
Regarding this, many ASHAs have filed their complaints from the local authorities to the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath, pleading for justice. But despite all this, no action has been taken till now by Mukesh Rastogi, Chief Medical Officer of Health Department, Balrampur regarding his heinous crime and efforts to suppress the matter under the guise of investigation are still going on. While many ASHAs told that our statement regarding the above matter has been recorded before the 3-member team 15 days ago, but even after the investigation, no administrative action has been taken against Sumant Singh Chauhan.
Only he has been transferred from Tulsipur CSC center to CHC center Shriduttganj. Apart from this, till now zero departmental action is being seen. Whereas information about him getting an apology letter on Asha Savitri case in a fake document has also come to light. Then, why is the Health Department protecting the former Superintendent, CMO, Balrampur till now, while continuous pressure has been put on ASHAs to withdraw the case? Information is being received from the sources, but still the higher officials of the district are still suppressing the matter. Whereas if sources are to be believed, even after transfer, pressure and threats by Dr. Suman Singh Chauhan on local employees and ASHAs are still continuing in Tulsipur.
Due to which some employees and ASHAs are forced to speak out in fear and give statements in their favor. The same Asha and her family who gave the complaint letter seem to be afraid of Dr. Sumant Singh that anything can be done to them, yet the health department is clearly protecting such people by not taking any action against them, whereas if they are crime free. If we talk about the Uttar Pradesh government, which talks about India, its claims are proving to be just bookish. The rest of the ground reality shows a different picture.
