Another challan approved on the roads. The time given was only 15 days. Thousands of challans will be deducted from 1st date
New rules are being brought regarding transportation system across the country so that the safety rating of the people can be increased. Road safety is still a big issue in India due to which thousands of families become homeless every year. Recently, the accident of Cyrus Mistry, who was traveling in a very premium car, shook the entire country.
The new rule has come into effect from 1st.
Now in the country, Mumbai Police has made it mandatory for all passengers to wear seat belts on the back seat after boarding their vehicles from 1st. Those who do not comply will be issued challan and fine during traffic checking. Mumbai Police had issued public notice for this checking 15 days ago.
New arrangement for old vehicles.
In many old vehicles, seat belts etc. were not present in the rear seat, but Mumbai Police has informed the people to get them installed outside by retrofitting. People have been asked to immediately get seat belts compulsorily installed on the rear seat of their vehicles from their service centers or retrofitting shops.
Campaign is going on in Delhi.
Notification has already been issued regarding these things in Delhi and rear seat belts are being checked. Especially at the entry and exit points of the expressway, checking is being done with great care and people are being challaned for not following the rules.
If you too have not used the rear seat belt till now, then start using it immediately, otherwise very soon you may be issued a challan by the traffic police.
