Another Hindu youth shot dead in Bangladesh, when will the atrocities on Hindus in the neighboring country stop?

The latest case has come to light from Mymensingh district, where a member of the rural paramilitary force died after being shot. This incident has happened at a time when the news of the murder of another Hindu citizen in the same district a few days ago had already created outrage across the country.

According to Bangladeshi media reports, the deceased Ansar member has been identified as Brijendra Biswas. It is alleged that his friend Noman Mian opened fire on him. The police have taken the accused into custody and investigation into the case is ongoing.
The incident took place inside the factory in Mymensingh district.
According to reports, the incident took place around 6:30 pm on Monday evening inside the Sultana Sweaters Limited factory in Mehrabari area of Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh district. About 20 Ansar members were deployed there for the security of the factory. It is being told that Brijendra Biswas and Noman Mian were sitting together while on duty, when suddenly after a dispute the incident of firing took place.
Declared dead on being taken to hospital
After the incident, injured Brijendra Biswas was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. His age is said to be around 40 years. Brijendra Biswas, father Pavitra Biswas, was a resident of Kadirpur village of Sylhet Sadar Upazila.
Accused Noman Mian arrested
The accused Noman Mian has been arrested in this case. He is said to be a resident of Tahirpur police station area of Sunamganj district. Police officials say that the reasons behind the incident are being investigated and action will be taken keeping all the aspects in mind.
Violent incidents have happened before too
It is noteworthy that a few days ago, the incident of murder of Dipu Chandra Das had come to light in the same Mymensingh district, which had created an atmosphere of tension in the entire area. These continuously unfolding incidents have raised serious questions regarding the safety of minorities in Bangladesh.

After these incidents, the demand from human rights organizations and social workers to ensure the safety of minorities has intensified. The administration has assured to keep an eye on the situation and take strict action against the culprits.
