Another key accused arrested in Delhi blast case, NIA caught Yasir Ahmed Dar from Shopian, had taken oath for suicide attack.
New Delhi. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested another key accused in connection with the bomb blast that took place near the historic Red Fort in Delhi last month. The ninth person arrested in this case is Yasir Ahmed Dar, a resident of Shopian in Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir). Let us tell you that 11 people had died in this blast. Many others were injured.

Took oath for suicide attack
According to the statement issued by the NIA, the accused has been arrested under case number RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI under relevant sections of the Urban Encroachment Act 1967 and BNS 2023. NIA investigation has revealed that Yasir had an active role in the conspiracy of the car bomb blast in the capital on November 10. Being an active participant in the conspiracy, he had taken the oath of allegiance and pledged to commit suicide attack.
The anti-terrorism agency’s investigation also revealed that Yasir was in close contact with other accused in the case, including Umar un Nabi (deceased perpetrator of the bomb blast) and Mufti Irfan. Working closely with various central and state agencies, NIA is working with utmost urgency to uncover the entire conspiracy behind the terror attack.

Earlier this month, it had launched massive search operations at the locations of several accused and suspects in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh. Various digital devices and other objectionable materials seized. Earlier, similar searches were conducted at the premises of key accused Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ghani and Dr. Shaheen Saeed at Al Falah University Campus in Faridabad (Haryana) and other places.
