Nitish Reddy ruled out of Ireland T20Is : The Indian cricket team has left for the tour of Ireland and England. India has to play two T20I matches against Ireland, followed by five T20I and three ODI matches against England from June 26. Meanwhile, the team has suffered another major setback. The team’s star all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the T20I series against Ireland. At the same time, there is a possibility of his staying out of the England tour also.

The Indian team has suffered a blow as all-rounder Nitish Reddy has been ruled out of the upcoming white-ball tour of UK due to a quadriceps injury, according to a news agency report. He suffered this injury during the recent ODI series against Afghanistan. Reddy was to replace Hardik Pandya, who himself is suffering from a minor quadriceps injury and is not in a position to bowl 10 overs in the ODI. The medical bulletin read, “Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the Ireland series. MRI revealed swelling in his left quadriceps and also a fiber tear. He has been asked to report to the COE for further investigation.”
